The County Executive Committee (CEC) members conduct the business of the Montgomery County Democratic Party. The members are the Party Chair and the Democratic Precinct Chairs in the County, all of whom are elected in accordance with the Texas Election Code and the Rules of the Texas Democratic Party.

To qualify for the office of County Chair or Precinct Chair, a candidate must:

be a qualified voter residing within the geographic boundaries of the entity represented;

have voted in the last Democratic primary election or have signed an oath of affiliation with the Democratic Party

not be a candidate for or hold any other federal, state, or county elected office.
