Vote by Mail if you can’t vote in person
If you wish to vote by mail, you must now apply for a mail-in ballot every year. Find information here:
Not registered to vote in Texas? Find registration information here: MyTexasVotes.com. Texas does not have online registration, but you may download an application from the Texas Secretary of State to fill out and mail in.
Verify your Voter Registration
Your registration may have been suspended. So, if your registration remains suspended for 2 years or more, you may be dropped from the voter rolls. Go to montgomeryvotes.org to verify you are registered.
Be an Educated Voter
Learn about the candidates before voting. League of Women Voters Texas, League of Women Voters Montgomery County and Ballotpedia are great resources.
Connect With Your Elected Officials – Make Your Voice Heard!
Let them hear from you about what they are doing right and what they are getting wrong. They won’t know how you want them to represent you if you don’t tell them. And they all represent you even if you didn’t vote for them! Find your representatives here
